Do I have to introduce yuccaHR to my new hires?

No, you do not have to introduce yuccaHR to anybody except for your administrators in the web application. All communication to employees will be done by the Yuccabot in Slack and does not need an introduction from your side.

Can I grant my team access to the yuccaHR web application?

Yes. You can invite anybody who is in your Slack workspace as administrator, editor and guest in the web application to help you build your onboarding journeys.

Can I make my team part of the onboarding process?

Absolutely. We know how important it is to get the whole team involved in the process. By assigning team members to different roles, like manager and onboarding buddy, they automatically become part of the journey for their new hires (the FAQs about Journeys below tell you more on this).


What is a journey?

A journey is basically a process that your new hire will go through during their onboarding. You can simply use one of our journey templates or create and customise a whole new journey to whatever fits your purpose. Once a journey is in place, you will assign a new hire to it and the yuccaHR app takes it from there.

Can I reuse a journey?

Absolutely. After all, that is the main purpose to work with journeys. We aim to keep your workload as low as possible, thus you just have to setup a journey once and you can use it for as many new hires as you wish. However, we do recommend you to have more than one journey available for different segmentations, like location, department, job field and level of experience.

Can a new hire go through multiple journeys?

Yes. You can assign as many journeys to each new hire as you wish. For example, you can combine a journey for a location with a journey specified on a job field. This saves you a lot of time, as you can combine journeys to deliver a personal onboarding experience for each new hire or position.

How long does a journey take?

You can make an onboarding journey as short as one day or as long as multiple years, that is entirely up to you. It is also possible to segment a new hire in multiple journeys over an extended time.

Does yuccaHR integrate with 3rd party apps and software?

Yes. For more information on this, continue in the section ‘Integrations’ below.


Is Slack required if I want to use yuccaHR?

Yes, at least for now. We are also working on integrating with Microsoft Teams.

Why do I need Slack or Teams to use yuccaHR?

We aim to make the experience as seamless as possible for you, your team and your new hires. With the possible integrations to the tools most customers already use in their daily work, we save the need to install another app and reduce the time spent switching between apps.

Can I integrate yuccaHR with my calendar?

Not yet, but we plan to release this as soon as Q4 of this year. Integrations to both Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook will be released, so your team and new hires can immediately schedule group meetings, 1-on-1s, tasks and more in their calendar.

Can I integrate yuccaHR with my ATS software?

Not yet, but we plan to release these integrations as soon as Q1 of 2021.

Pricing & plans

What is a user?

A user is equal to a Slack member. The pricing of Business and Enterprise plans depends on the amount of members in your Slack workspace.

How does the free trial work and what is included?

Free trials provide you with a full version of a Business plan for 30 days. You’ll find that the trial period does impose a few temporary limits on the contents, like the number of templates you can use. Other than that, you get the full experience of yuccaHR, so you know exactly what you’re getting when you become a yuccaHR customer.

What happens after my free trial ends?

After the 30 day trial your account will be put on hold. If you choose to keep your Business plan, you will need to enter your payment details and confirm. After the confirmation you continue your account and data as you left it during the free trial.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards including Visa and Mastercard. If you’d like us to accept purchase orders or take any form of offline payment, please write our support desk: support@yuccahr.com

Do I need to enter my credit card info to sign up?

No. You can sign up and use yuccaHR 30 days without entering your credit card details. At the end of your trial you will need to pick a plan and enter your credit card details.

Can I pay monthly?

All yuccaHR plans are for a one-year commitment, since we’ve found this gives you enough time to improve your onboarding experience. However, monthly payments are available at an additional 10% per month.

Does my plan automatically upgrade when I exceed the amount of users?

Yes. We will notify you when you exceed the number of users available in your current pricing plan and to keep things easy for you, it will automatically be upgraded with the next payment.
